1.In terms of the ‘continuing education’ objective, do you think providing training alone is enough? Elaborate your reason.
Ans:
Continuing education is education for adults in a variety of subjects, most of which are practical, not academic. Also is an all encompassing term within a broad spectrum of post-secondary learning activities and programs. Recognized forms of post-secondary learning activities within the domain include: degree credit courses by non-traditional students , non-degree career training, workforce training, formal personal enrichment courses (both on-campus and online) self-directed learning (such as through Internet interest groups, clubs or personal research activities) and experiential learning as applied to problem solving.
General continuing education is similar to adult education, at least in being intended for adult learners, especially those beyond traditional undergraduate college or university age. However, it is not normally considered to include basic instruction such as literacy, English language skills, or programs such as vocational training or GED preparation. Instead, as the term suggests, it is assumed that the student already has an education and is simply continuing it.
so, in my opinion, the importance of adult education and job-related continuing education and training for social, economic and cultural development is widely accepted in all societies based on knowledge andactive citizenship. Whether it is enough or not. it's not bad thing.
3.Based on the ‘immediate objective’ and ‘success criteria’ listed in the article, do you think that ‘time management’ and ‘cost management’ are the main concerns of the project sponsor and stakeholders? Why do you think so?
Ans :
time management it is a set of principles, practices, skills, tools and systems that help you use your time to accomplish what you want.
Time management is of great importance to your personal life and career success. It teaches you how to manage your time effectively and make the most of it.
Here are a few of the reasons why it is so important, and how it can help you use and manage your time more advantageously:
1. Time is a special resource that you cannot store or save for later use. Everyone has the exact same amount of time each day. Time not well used cannot be retrieved.
2. Most people feel like they have too much to do and not enough time. They blame lack of time for their poor finances, unachieved goals, stress, bad relationships and not exercising their body. Wise time management can help you find the time for what you desire to do or need to do.
3. You need time to get what you want out of life. Waiting for more free time to appear is losing the game of life. Through time management you can “create” the time you need, and not just wait for it to come. By planning your time wisely, you will have more time to do more things.
4. Time management will help you set up your priorities.
5. Time is limited to 24 hours a day, so plan your life wisely.
6. Time management helps you make conscious choices, so you can spend more of your time doing things that are important and valuable to you.
Cost Management is the process whereby companies use cost accounting to report or control the various costs of doing business.Cost Management is the one journal that can help you develop, improve and better use your company's cost management systems.
The term cost management is widely used in business today. Unfortunately cost management has no uniform definition. Cost management generally describes the approaches and activities of managers in short run and long run planning and control decisions that increase value for customers and lower costs of products and services. For example, managers make decisions regarding the amount and kind of material being used, changes of plant processes, and changes in product designs. Information from accounting systems helps managers make such decisions, but the information and the accounting systems themselves are not cost management.
so, I think that ‘time management’ and ‘cost management’ are the main concerns of the project sponsor and stakeholders. Because they want to combine in order to more effectively help businesses to success.

ReplyDeleteYou are a bit out of scope in answering here. You should relate it back to the Biomass Project executing company, whether their training alone is enought to tackle the objective of 'continuing education', not the continuing education in general.
Comment on Q3:
Again, here, I find that your answer is in general terms, instead of focusing on the Biomass Project that you've studied. At least, the example you gave should be depicted from the article, to show that you understand what was presented.
Theoretically, you've achieved a lot. Good job.
