HJP Consulting has set up a considerable range of test and certification services for testing e-passports and inspection systems. The team of e-passport experts, test engineers and project managers handle all administrative processes, from initial planning to the awarding of the requested certificate.
189 ICAO member states are aiming to issue e-passports to their citizens and to install inspection systems at border control points in order to read e-passports. At the end of 2008, more than 60 countries are already engaged in achieving these targets, many more are in the planning process of doing so. The enhancement of security at border control points with e-passports is dependent on the interoperability of e-passports and inspection systems on a worldwide basis.

Project management process groups progress from initiation activities to planning activities, executing activities, monitoring and controlling activities and closing activities.
Initiating processes include defining and authorizing a project. To initiate a project or just the concept phase of a project, someone must define the business need for the project. This process related to the first success factor. The company must build understanding of the system with the issuers personnel.
Planning process include devising and maintaining a workable scheme to ensure that the project addresses the organization’s needs. Executing processes include coordinating people and other resources to carry out the various plans. This 2 process related to second factor. Project manager able to manage the project to ensure the project can fulfill the business need and also coordinating the people to make the project success
Monitoring and controlling processes include regularly measuring and monitoring progress progress to ensure that the project team meets the project objectives.Project stakeholders can identify any necessary change that may be required to keep the project on track. This process related to third factor. Suppliers have to communicate well to identify the change and keep the project on track.
Closing process include formalizing acceptance of the project. This process related to fourth factor. Involvement of project sponsor is needed to get the acceptance of the project.
